JORDAN NOVOTA

Jordan, a versatile Hybrid Athlete, embarked on an athletic journey at the age of 3 as an Alpine skier, later transitioning to competitive racing from ages 8 to 16. Between ages 16 and 19, I took on coaching roles for U12/U14 alpine skiers. With an early start in swimming at age 6, I played water polo at a national level from ages 12 to 16, cultivating a strong swimming background. Stepping into the gym at 14, despite initial uncertainty, I consistently combined weightlifting with sports participation, transforming from a lanky kid to a high-performance athlete. Over three years of coaching and six years of training, I independently mastered proper nutrition, diet, and training techniques. The focus is on hands-on experience rather than theoretical knowledge. I have proven the possibility of excelling as a high-performance athlete while simultaneously building muscle and achieving endurance and strength goals. The goal is to share this expertise and help others reach their full potential, emphasizing the belief that anything is achievable with dedication.

I strongly advocate for a programming approach that emphasizes the  development of physical strength as well as cardiovascular endurance. It’s an  athletes goal to build a sustainable amount of muscle mass while allowing for  endurance goals to be achieved. The key to muscle growth, or hypertrophy, lies  in progressive tension overload. As we become stronger, we can more rapidly  increase workload volume, facilitating continuous progress. As we enhance our  endurance, we can more efficiently increase training volume, fostering sustained  progress.
